Infinity Power and Pele Green Energy awarded 240 MW Palladium Solar 1 Project in 7th REIPPPP
The Palladium Solar 1 project, located in Limpopo, is one of six awarded to Infinity Power and Pele Green Energy in REIPPPP’s seventh round. This 240 MW solar PV power plant is 51% owned by Infinity Power and 49% owned by Pele Green Energy and is a key component of the partnership’s 1.28 GW portfolio awarded under this round.
Once operational, Palladium Solar 1 will form part of the partnership’s broader renewable energy strategy, avoiding significant CO2 emissions and boosting the local economy through job creation. Construction will commence following the completion of regulatory agreements with the DMRE and Eskom.
This project further solidifies Infinity Power’s roadmap to deploying 10 GW of renewable capacity across Africa by 2030, with South Africa serving as a key market for the company’s renewable energy ambitions.
